Balance Testing
Mark undergoes testing as part of an ongoing Russian experiment that evaluates the impact of space flight on the balance and reflex systems of cosmonauts. This equipment was provided by NASA. It allows the visible landscape (the screen) to be moved independently of the platform on which the subject is standing. At this stage, every nerve signal in the legs is being recorded.
